Early endorsements, strong polling numbers and a record-breaking fundraising haul have propelled Ramaswamy — a former presidential candidate — into the spotlight as the clear GOP favorite.
A recent Bowling Green State University/YouGov poll shows Ramaswamy with overwhelming support among Republican voters, reaching about 61 % in early preferences, far ahead of other contenders such as Lt. Governor Jim Tressel and AG Dave Yost.
