Rebecca opened Helen’s notebook.
“Dialysis Tuesday and Friday,” she read. “Blood-pressure medication. Penicillin allergy. Her nephrologist’s office number is here.”
One paramedic glanced at the notebook. “Who wrote all that?”
“A friend,” Rebecca said.
