Grandma’s Final Letters

In her will, she left me one strange task: deliver five letters. Each one addressed to a different neighbor. No explanation. Just instructions — and a warning written at the bottom: “Do not ignore this.”

I didn’t want to do it. But I couldn’t ignore her last wish.

The first house was only two doors down. I knocked, handed over the envelope, and walked away without saying a word.

I hadn’t even made it back to my car when everything changed.

Sirens.

Police cars pulled up fast. Officers rushed inside that same house.

My heart started racing.

Because whatever my grandmother had written…

It wasn’t just a letter.
