“Not yet. I ordered one after the porch visit. It’s supposed to arrive tomorrow.”

Bennett’s jaw worked once. “Convenient timing.”

“Crowley?”

“I’m not saying that without proof.”

“I am.”

Bennett gave him a look. “You can say it in your kitchen. I can’t put it in a report that way.”

Cal knew he was right, which did not make it easier.
