Emily pushed herself up.
“The boy who brought me in. Miles. Where is he?”
“He left a while ago.”
“No.”
The word came out sharper than she meant.
The nurse’s smile faded.
“He didn’t leave a number. We have his first and last name, but no address.”
Emily closed her eyes.
