I called Mom while I was shopping and asked, “Should I bring chocolate cake or apple pie for Christmas?” – Welcome

Leah called.

“I remembered.”

I pulled into a parking lot.

“Tell me only what you’re certain about.”

“Dad made a toast. I don’t remember the exact first sentence, but I’m sure he called the bungalow ‘our new place.’”

“Everyone heard?”

“Yes.”

“Mom too?”

“Yes.”

“People congratulated them?”

“Yes.”

I thanked her and ended the call.
