I returned home from a work trip to find 100 roses delivered to my wife – then I noticed the note hidden inside one of the bouquets

The letters were oversized and uneven, some floating above the lines while others dipped below them.

A child’s handwriting.

I cleared my throat and read the note aloud.

“Please don’t quit.”

Jane’s hand flew to her mouth.
