I was cleaning the pool this morning when I suddenly noticed this.

That made the pool a possible place for one to appear.

What initially seemed like a creature strangely out of place was actually behaving exactly as its biology allowed.

It had not deliberately invaded the pool.

It had simply ended up in an environment where its breathing adaptation worked.
