Hannah waited until Juniper’s eyelids sank fully closed, then set the dart rifle on the ground. Boone watched the rifle leave her hands. Caleb did too.
“You sure about that?” Caleb asked softly.
“No,” Hannah said. “But he needs to see what I’m choosing.”
